Richard Foxx, “Doc”, has been a rated polo player, a sought after long distance ocean racing sailboat navigator, a combat surgeon, a blogger, an author (SPIRIT RANCH), and the public relations director at Eldorado Polo Club, one of the country’s largest polo venues. Co-founder of The Medical and Skin Spa at Hyatt Grand Champions in Indian Wells, CA, acclaimed as one of the eight great resort-based medical spas in the world, he has also been an Emmy nominated television producer. A mostly reformed cowboy, Doc is a board certified physician and surgeon. His querencia lies in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains on the outskirts of Santa Fe, New Mexico, where he lives with Petunia, his clairvoyant tortoiseshell cat.
From her career as the international fashion buyer for legendary Giorgio Beverly Hills on Rodeo Drive to rated polo player, cowgirl and barrel racer, Jo Foxx lived a life of accomplishments, adventure and just plain fun. While attending UMass, the university was named the top party school in the country, an honor for which Jo always took credit. She was a magna cum laude graduate of the Fashion Institute in Los Angeles and with her unerring eye for fashion established herself as an authority and consultant. Co-founder of The Medical and Skin Spa, she launched FoxxMD Evolutionary Skin Care, a successful line of organic skin care products. Jo was Director of Marketing and Sponsor Development at Eldorado Polo Club and also founded a successful equestrian sports marketing company. A quintessential Taurus, Jo was an active wild horse advocate and was responsible for the rescue of many abused horses.
